The Palatinate museum at Heidelberg always puts together a great selection of work for this triennial. Quilts are not really my favourite textile form, but this gallery never fails to please me – the standard is so high. It was great to work again with Dr Kristine Scherer, the museum curator, and Inge Huber, one of the artists, installing this. Our colleague and photographer Rob Kennard got us laughing, but there was plenty of hard work on this one too. Kristine was as usual immaculately prepared and had made a detailed plan for the gallery, but inevitably we did end up making a few last minute adjustments to show the works to best advantage.
