About
I work as a curator and exhibitions manager, mainly in contemporary craft, specialising in textiles. I work for arts organisations and also independently. At present (October 2010) I’ve been the Craft Development Curator at Smiths Row (formerlyBury St Edmunds Art Gallery) for two and a half years, and also the freelance installation manager since 2002 for Twisted Thread. who present the “The Knitting u0026amp; Stitching Show” and “Festival of Quilts” each year in the UK. I hope to shortly also start working with the Hub in Sleaford, the National Centre for Craft u0026amp; Design. This year I was also on the international selection panel for the4th Riga Textile and Fibre Art Triennial in Latvia. This picture shows me with my colleagues Rob, Gavin and Pete at The Knitting u0026amp; Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace London, 2009. We were preparing a gallery for Tom Lundberg, an American artist from Fort Collins, Colorado, who works in miniature textiles.
